Controversial door-to-door HIV testing in Zimbabwe gets Mugabe’s approval, but who are the volunteers set to do it? The programme is being run by a group called TCE (“Total Contol of the Epidemic”) which is a subsidiary of the Tvind Teachers Group/Humana People-to-People. I just wonder who’s paying for the equipment transport and expenses, and whether some outside donor knows who they’re involved with – and have they checked the accounts?

http://tumfweko.com/2012/01/19/mugabe-orders-door-to-door-hiv-testing-for-zimbabweans/comment-page-1/#comment-71200

And look at this comment posted on the article (and not by us):

Former volunteer of TCE NGO

January 20, 2012 at 5:38 pm

Unbelievable (but totally predictable) that an ‘NGO’ (that is completely 110% FOR profit) as corrupt as Total Control of the Epidemic (TCE) and Mugabe are so intertwined in the Empire they’re creating.

I worked in these countries doing VCT for TCE and most if not all these volunteers (who you’re right will not ever be properly remunerated) are not properly trained to give an HIV+ diagnosis.

If anything, this is a cautionary tale to Zimbabwean residents to beware of the capabilities that could unfold in a country with those 2 entities/empires in power.

We’d like Former volunteer of TCE NGO to get in touch please!

Clothes sorting centre at Varna

Humana People-to-People has been in Bulgaria since 2003. Informants suggest it is run through a Bulgarian-Italian enterprise known as One World Clothes Trade Bulgaria with a link to Humana Italy. At one stage it opened a supposed ‘Global Development Centre’ in Varna. There have been at least two ‘Humana‘ or ‘UFF‘ used clothes shops in Bulgaria. We received complaints that UFF ‘did not pay tax or wages properly’.

‘TRAINING CENTRE’ IN PRISELTCI, VARNA

Humana Bulgaria opened a ‘Global Development Training Centre’ at Priseltci, but it was not successful and closed after a short time. A clothes shop at Priseltci also failed. The two Humana Teachers who ran these enterprises, Yesper and Rosa, have returned to Norway. The building is now used as accommodation for the clothing company.

CLOTHES TRADING COMPANIES

ONE WORLD CLOTHES TRADE BULGARIA

Since 2003. This is a Teachers Group commercial company. According to informants, the main shareholder is an Italian-resident Teachers Group member, Karina Bolin, who also runs Humana Italy. Our informants say the best, ‘A’ quality clothes are sold for a good price in Georgia and in Russia. Many of the other clothes are sold in Africa – especially Benin and Angola – officially as ‘humanitarian aid’, but for good profits.

Who runs One World Clothes Trade Bulgaria?

Per Jacob Albinus – Danish member of the Teachers Group. Albinus was involved with Humana France during the 1990s, in the years before its identification as a cult and its closure by French authorities for non-payment of taxes. Most recently in charge of Humana clothes collection in Portugal.

Karin Wallin – Swedish, formerly with Humana Greece (now closed)

TRADE LINK or HOLLAND HOUSE (pre 2003)

This appears to have been a commercial company linked to the Dutch Teachers Group company EC Trading, which went bust in 2000. It was run from Sofia by Janice Bostic, now a key player in the Teachers Group in the USA. See Hot Money: Laundering Used Clothes in Europe 1990-2000.

YOUR COMMENTS

‘Investigator’ writes: “One World Clothes Trade Bulgaria is operating since 2003. The main idea of this company is not far from the others of Humana: generating of money for their private needs, maximum staff exploitation and no chance for professional career for the executive management members or the others. It’s a perfect money washing machine.”

Humana back in Belgium

Recently, a new second hand textile shop (Vintage) was opened in Ghent (Ajuinlei 15), under the name of “HUMANA / BALTIC TEXTILE TRADING”.

A quick investigation learned that “Baltic Textile Trading” (Ltd) was established in Belgium since 2007, by “Humana People to People Baltic” (society of public interest) in Vilnius, Lithuania. Since then, direction and official address changed several times.

The Belgian company, employing more than 10 people, is not making profit (this is not a surprise).

In the early 1990s Belgian police started a money laundering case against several Teachers Group Members. The case was suddenly abandoned after the prosecution withdrew charges. Some of the defendants were the same as thoise on trial for fraud in Denmark. Names and details follow.

Belgian Humana clothes shops closed in the mid 2000s.
Kleider machen Leute
In Österreich gehören sie zum Straßenbild: die Container von Humana. In ihnen landen Kleiderspenden. Für den guten Zweck. Humana gibt vor, eine Hilfsorganisation zu sein. Doch der Verein ist mehr: kommerziell und undurchsichtig. Nur ein Bruchteil der Spenden landet in Afrika.

The Teachers Group now has a large presence in China on several fronts.

A college and volunteering scheme known as YID or Yunnan Institute of Development has been operating for some time and we have on file several complaints from ex-volunteers and reports about the college.

In Shanghai, a furniture factory and group of companies known as the Trayton Group is closely connected to Tvind, and is run by a Teachers Group member called Simon Lichtenberg. Lichtenberg is on our list of the 30 top financial wizards in the Teachers Group. He has twice tried to sue this site. On both times, lawyers in Denmark successfully defended it.

The Teachers Group is now very active seeking financial grants and making connections with wealthy NGOs inside and outside China. We are particularly interested in a TG member named Michael Hermann in this connection.
