The Times of Zambia Nine people living with HIV/AIDS in Mushili are demanding to be paid K150,000 in full instead of the K67,000 given to them by Hope Humana in Ndola after making blocks for the organisation. The group said according to the agreement, the money was supposed to be given to them in full but the organisation decided to contribute the rest of the money to the club, Living Proof Dynamite, to which they belonged. Mr Kennedy Mwale who was a group leader said after demanding money, the club has deregistered their membership rendering them helpless. He said as people living with HIV/AIDS, they were supposed to be given all the money which belonged to them after doing their work. “Why can’t the Government establish an organisation for the people living with HIV/AIDS to help us instead of living everything to NGOs which sometimes abuse the needy?” he asked.
