Amdi's fortified retreat

May 2003:  Amdi Petersen and close associates are thought to be living in this 'fortified' country house near Grindsted, central Denmark, during the trial of himself and seven Teachers Group members for fraud.

Plagborgvej 13 is a huge estate on the edge of town, entirely hidden from the road by tall trees, and protected by security cameras, electrified fences, and a dog run.

In fact, because of the trees, all that can be seen from the road is an 80-ft radio antennae.    This is thought to be part of the Teachers group's secure communications systems with the Tvind empire abroad.

Aerial photographs, seen by Tvind Alert, show a well-appointed modern villa , with a swimming pool, covered tennis court, and lots of grounds.   The luxurious property is only a mile from the Teachers group headquarters building at Odinsvej 17, and was one of seven properties raided by the Danish police, tax authorities and security services in 2001.

The name on the post box is Svend K Pedersen, believed to be a Tvind supporter who has made this property available for Amdi and the Teachers Group.
