Environmental projects: Natural gas project
'Controversy has also surrounded Tvind's development projects in Malaysia and French Polynesia, where the authorities there have been asked to investigate whether the projects actually exist.' [Copenhagen Post, Dec 1998]
'The latest scandal is about one of the teachers groups funds with the purpose that "support human purpose for research and protection of the environment". 49 mill Danish crowns had been excepted to four different projects. Tvinds spokesman have been sued of the Danish government when he wasn't able to make clear if at least two of the projects (nature gas project in French Polynesia and tropical forest project in Malaysia) over head taken exists. The Embassies in respective countries have on assignment of the Danish government been searching for the given projects without be able to find them.' [FRI Sweden]
