DRH Juelsminde DENMARK
DRH Juelsminde is one of the four
original Tvind Travelling Folk High Schools in Denmark.
There is also a Tvind Efterskole
at Juelsminde. At one time, the Teachers Group had their own
clinic, the Kysthospitalet, on this site. There
is a well-funded promotion team at Juelsminde recruiting new students

DRH JUELSMINDE TO CLOSE
September 2004: The travelling Folk High School at Juelsminde has been sold. The college - one of Tvind's oldest - will be pulled down and replaced by a development of up to 100 beachside apartments.
Danish newspapers report that the college in a beautiful location next to the sea, has been bought by two Danes living in Germany who have submitted plans for the redevelopment.
The Juelsminde school is one of the oldest Tvind colleges and a jewel in the crown of the Tvind empire. It has been a college for more than 25 years. Amdi Petersen's aged mother still lives in an apartment on the site.
Tvind spokesman Poul Joergensen confirms the sale but says: 'We don't have so many pupils any more'. Tvind will keep the neighbouring inspector's house.
No official figure has been given for the sale, but the value of the buildings is estimated at 22 million DKK (about 2 million). There has been speculation about how exactly the Tvind Teachers Group will benefit from the deal: the official owner of the site is Tvind's property-owning Foundation Faelleseje, but that trust was taken over by the Danish government.
One correspondent writes: "Most interesting is it, that Juelsminde - as all the other Tvind-buildings - is owned by the Foundation Flleseje. But the state took control over Flleseje last year because of irregularities. So it means that the TG can't just use the money, that belongs to Flleseje, since Poul Jrgensen has lost his position as chairmann to a man put in by the state. Poul J. is now only vice-chairman.
" I wonder, maybe TG has sold Juelsminde for a low price, and has put that money where it belongs - in Flleseje. And then maybe have got another amount of money "under the table" - paid to some offshore TG-account."

One year ago I did read this DRH ad in the newspaper. I needed a break. finally, in January 2002 I went to the infoweekend in Juelsminde. My "interview" was the longest, because my plan was to start in a "Mozambique team". "Lotte" wanted me to go to her school and start in a "Angola team".
Then I said: "Angola i would have to think about, but Mozambique i could sign today!". Suddenly i got offered to start in the "Mozambique team", but would need to go to Tvind school in Ulfborg and would not get a scholarship.
Anyway, i was ready and prepared to sign the "contract". and when I returned to my place I paid them money in advance (how stupid).
Some months back in my country and 4 weeks DRH Tvind school experience later, i am still trying to get part of my prepaid school fees back.
My last contact was today with "Anne", probably the "last" headmaster of Tvind. I called her today because I gave her a last deadline to transfer some of the money they owe me. She told me that Tvind is closed. I think some of my old team members (I was the first who left this "last" team) are still there. She told me that some lawyer will contact me, but she didn't want to give me his name or/and phone number.
My patience is over and I will now pass the case to a inkasso company. Hope to get some money back.
To "Anne" I have sent the following email
after our conversation today: "... this will be the last
time that you will hear from me personally. i just want to let know you that I
trusted you before i came to Tvind and I now know that this was wrong. i
should have trusted Tvindalert, and I will let them know."
May 2003: I think you
should pay close attention to the school in Juelsminde. At least 10
people left that school last year. It's because this school is leaded in
a bit different way than the others,accordin to what I
know. Who's mr. Rene Schultz?
Do you have more information about this person? He's Juelsminde
DRH headmaster,but that's all I know. Do you have more?

September 2003: I am a student of Tvind in DRH-Juelsminde and I leave the program in 2 weeks because I realised that the things in Tvind are much too strange and they are lying all the time.
But why I contact you is to give you some information about the promotion team. Now you surely know Humana has a PR group which is looking for new DI's and they are on their computers and on the phone the whole day. They have good computers and nice furniture. Everything new!
Till here nothing special. But last weekend I have been moving their stuff and the boss of the PR make a mistake and said that we DI's are paying for the promotion group but it wasn't in our budget what we got from our headmaster. They were trying to tell us some shit like every time but sure is that we poor DI's are paying for the PR with the nice furniture and computers.
And if you are interested I could get more information before I leave and maybe some pictures of the promotion area. Thanks for attention!
They are a group of maybe 6 or 8 TG people, 2 volunteers which are just working for food and sometimes 1 or 2 DI's doing their fundraising. I think it is the main PR for Europe and their work is sending emails and talking to the people on the phone.
Then when we had info weekends in Juelsminde they were hosts in the weekend and made personal meetings where they tell the lies to the people and I know from the last info weekend (the weekend when i left) there were 14 people and 12 of them enrolled and what the tell them is totally different of the truth but that should be nothing new for you.
My team started with 12 people and already 5 left and 3 more are thinking about leaving.
How i said in the mail before they have really good working materials like computers, scanner, printers and so on. We have 200mhz computers and one printer which is older than old and the bullet is empty and they just don't buy new ones. They are living in a building part which is always locked and we never see them except info weekends.
So thats what i can tell you not much but if you have
questions i can try to answer them or ask my old team members. I
am sorry about getting no pictures but in that case i can also ask my
team members but i don't think anyone is crazy enough to get some!

They were trying to tell us some shit like every time but sure is that we poor DI's are paying for the PR with the nice furniture and computers.
