Listener at Tvind case arrested with a tape recorder

Politiken, 7. August 2003, 18:13 hrs

A listener with a hidden tape recorder was arrested on Thursday during the Tvind court session in Århus.    It is forbidden to tape at Danish court cases.

The elderly man who was arrested by two civil officers had been listening several times together with rather few truefast listeners.

Earlier, also the archivist and author Frede Farmand belonged to the truefast listeners, but he is not allowed to listen to the testimonies of the witnesses because he will, in the court case he wrote a book about, also be used as a witness.

One of the defenders, Jakob Arrevad, thinks that Frede Farmand may be a »possible suspect«.

Farmand denies over for Ritzau that he has anything to do with the tape recordinmgs.
