HUMANA PEOPLE TO PEOPLE
Worldwide, in several countries of Europe, as well as China, India, South Africa and, currently, Botswana. In western countries, collection of old clothes in charity boxes on a large scale, door-to-door collections and fund raising, with the proceeds supposedly going to 'projects' in developing countries. Humana clothes enterprises are always run in conjunction with nearby Teachers Group DRH colleges often using students to work or raise funds.
Funds are said to benefit specified Teachers Group projects abroad such as DAPP and ADPP schools, vocational colleges, orphanages, 'childrens towns', etc. These foreign projects actually rely on the free labour of the Humana students, and Teachers Group Project Leaders who are 'paid' large salaries, but return the money to the Teachers Group.
It is almost impossible to trace the true foreign beneficiaries of the money raised in the west by Humana or establish the real financial position of Humana-sponsored DAPP projects. In Britain, Humana UK was closed down in 1998 because of suspected fraud.
